ORBIES CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS

Orbies is built for adults to connect through Communities, Bubbles, Volunteer Opportunities, and local experiences. Because the app enables real-world interaction between users, we hold ourselves to a strict, zero-tolerance standard on child safety. This page explains our commitments and how to report a concern.

1. Our Commitment

Secreteye Telematics Pvt Ltd is committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on Orbies, and to cooperating fully with law enforcement and applicable regulatory bodies to that end. This commitment applies across every feature of the app, including Communities, Bubbles, messaging, and volunteer/event listings.

2. Age Requirement & Enforcement

• Orbies is strictly limited to users 18 years of age or older. This is enforced through date-of-birth collection at signup and a binding attestation in our Terms & Conditions.
• Accounts we identify or reasonably suspect belong to a user under 18, or that misrepresent age to bypass this requirement, are removed.
• We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register, and we act promptly to remove any such account brought to our attention.

3. Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

We do not allow content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors in any form, anywhere on Orbies. This includes attempts to use the platform to contact, groom, or solicit a minor. Accounts involved in such conduct are permanently banned, and we cooperate with law enforcement and relevant authorities, consistent with our obligations under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable child-protection legislation.

4. In-App Safety Tools

Every user has access to:

• Block — instantly prevents another user from messaging you, viewing your profile, or interacting with you in Communities or Bubbles.
• Report — flags a profile, message, event, or piece of content for review by our moderation team.
• Hide — lets you remove unwanted interactions from your view without needing to fully block.

5. Moderation Process & Response Times

• General reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24 hours.
• Reports involving suspected child endangerment, exploitation, or CSAM are treated as priority and escalated for immediate review and account action, ahead of the standard queue.
• Where required by law, we preserve relevant records and cooperate with law enforcement requests.

6. No Location Exposure Between Users

Orbies uses location data only to personalize which Communities, Bubbles, and Volunteer Opportunities are shown to a given user — it is never used to reveal, broadcast, or share a user's location with anyone else. There is no map, radius, or “nearby” feature of any kind on Orbies, which means no user — including a minor who has gained access in violation of our Terms — can ever have their real-world location exposed to another user through the app. If an account is found or suspected to belong to a minor, it is removed immediately.

7. How to Report a Concern

If you believe a user is a minor, or you've encountered content or behavior that endangers a child:

• Use the in-app Report button on the relevant profile, message, or content, or
• Email us directly at team@orbies.in with as much detail as you can provide.

We review every report and, where appropriate, refer matters to law enforcement.

8. Policy Updates

We periodically review and update these standards to reflect evolving best practices in platform safety and applicable law. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above.
